The Counselor for Universities, Business, and Research, Salvador Marín, held a working meeting today with the Mayor of Abanilla, Fernando Molina, during which they discussed various matters related to the development of the municipality and visited the company Extrucolor. Marín took the opportunity during the meeting to encourage the company to continue using the assistance provided by the Department, as outlined in the Industrial Plan, to modernize and enhance its competitiveness based on R&D.
In fact, Extrucolor has been a recipient of grants managed by the Department through the Institute of Promotion (Info). With this subsidy, “the regional government has contributed to the modernization, expansion, and improvement of its production processes, making them more competitive in the current global market,” emphasized Marín.
The counselor urged Extrucolor to explore new international markets and make use of the assistance provided by Info to participate in commercial missions in strategic markets.
